  • HBSC re-opening March 2021

    Dear members, I'm delighted to confirm that from Monday 29th March Herne Bay Sailing Club will re-open, operating under the restrictions outlined in Step One of the government's roadmap. This means that all our outdoor facilities will be open from Monday. Indoor facilities such as the clubhouse and the changing rooms may not be used at this time, although the toilets may be used.   • 2021, HBSC Centenary year !

    Herne Bay Sailing Club is 100 years old and we are looking forward to getting back onto the water (and into the bar) together as soon possible.     To encourage and support use of the club for cadet and family activities we have organised a series of family-focused events on Saturdays throughout August; (1st, 8th, 15th, 22th & 29 th ). We will have a number of pre-rigged club boats and kayaks available for FREE booking . On these days there will be a dedicated Safety Boat team who will be on the water to assist where needed
