Welcome to edition 78 of the Bulletin, the regular communication keeping you informed of things happening at HBSC

Winter Social Programme

We are super excited to bring to you a programme of winter events to keep us united over the winter! More details to follow in the coming bulletins.

This coming Friday 29th November 7pm - Christmas decorating, crafting and Christmas jumper wearing

Let's get into the Christmas Spirit by enjoying a mince pie and a drink at the bar, putting up the decorations, wearing our Christmas Jumpers with friends and family. There will be a table to bring along any crafting you are happy to do and share with others. If you would like to sell any of your wares, please let Maria know and we will make space for you. We really want this to be a lovely evening for everyone so do come along and bring your friends and family. Does anyone fancy running the bar? If so, please pop your name down on SCM, mince pies and mulled wine will be supplied ready to serve!

Saturday 7th December 7pm - Christmas Quiz and Christmas Jumper night

This event is in aid of Catching Lives. Our quiz master and guest speaker is Paul Todd, from Catching Lives. We hope that you are thinking of putting a team together! Google reviews

If you have 5 spare minutes, please can you do a Google Review for the club? It helps our visibility! https://g.page/r/CTXtXyATLVIFEAE/review Thank you!

Moving to cashless

As a club we are moving towards cashless transactions. We encourage you to use your card/phone/watch to pay on the Sumup machine where possible. It is becoming increasingly challenging to access cash/change from the bank and so we have little choice but to move with the times......we appreciate this can be a bit tricky in the galley with smaller amounts of money and we are working on a solution for this. Thank you.

100 Club

I'm reaching out as I have recently taken over the HBSC 100 club lottery from Steve and Jane. As part of the transition process, unfortunately Nationwide are making us set up a new bank account. So we are reaching out to all the 100 club members with the new standing order details that we need everyone to switch to.

I am sorry it is a real pain, but please could you set up new standing orders to the below account and then cancel the old ones. Much appreciate if you can confirm when you have, my phone number is below if its easier to message on whatsapp.

Nationwide

A/C name: Peter Bradshaw

A/C Number: 05231664

Sort code: 071096

We really appreciate your continued support with fund raising for the club by participating in the 100 club lotto.

Kind regards, Pete Bradshaw 07812158383
