AGM and Water Users meetingThe AGM went smoothly and the annual report and accounts were received and passed. It was noted that some members have failed to adhere to Safeguarding arrangements when children are changing. We have to stick to the rules and demonstrate that we take this serious subject seriously.The Water Users meeting was a useful exchange of views and information. Russ and Olaf presented the results of the Survey sent to all members for which they had a good response. The results and the consultation will be fed into the programme for 2024.Thanks to all who attended and especially those who have put themselves forward for the Committee and other roles listed in the Nominations circulated. ALL HANDS ON DECK! This Saturday 18th NovemberPlease lend a hand this Saturday with some essential maintenance, redec, painting etc. From 12 til 5pm Lets get busy Thank you. Dinner Dance 25th NovemberDinner and dance end of year celebration, 25th November 2023. Tickets are £50 pp. This was a really fun event last year and we are really keen to make it as good as, or even better! Tickets are still available. You can pay for tickets in three ways: Cash: paid into the bar till. Please put a note in the till with the money so Dave and Jenny know where the extra money has come from. All are welcome including cadets of all ages! If anyone has any spare decoration to put up, please bring them along! Thank you. |

We would like to run a raffle on the night with the aim of splitting the net proceeds between the RNLI and the HBSC cadets. Any ideas for 'gift experiences' or gathering contributions suitable for the raffle would be most welcome. Please let Gill Reece know if you are able to help via direct message on WhatsApp. Thank you. Cadet Christmas Party Sunday 10th December2pm start, all are welcome. To make this low cost, we ask that if you would like to come along that you bring some food to share - please let Jo Norrington what you would like to bring. There will be music, games and craft. Bar will be open New Years Eve Party!Informal New Years Eve party bring and share a plate of food. Bar will be open, music and party games all members are welcome.
